How to prepare for a snowstorm

Are you prepared for a snowstorm? Here are some tips from AccuWeather to get ready for when the inches pile on.

If you have a generator or snow blower, make sure you have fuel available before the snow falls. Flashlights, candles, batteries and a radio are good to have on hand in case the power goes out.

Make sure your battery and wiper blades are in good working condition for your car. Check your tire pressure and the tread on your tires in case you need to travel. It's also recommended to keep an emergency kit in your car with blankets and snacks in case you get stranded.
