If you're still feeling nostalgic about Michael Jordan while watching "The Last Dance" (Episodes 9 and 10 begin at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN), there's a new hotel you might want to visit.
Graduate Hotels is opening a Chapel Hill, North Carolina, location this fall, and it will feature a detailed reconstruction of Jordan's University of North Carolina dorm room, as featured in a 1983 Sports Illustrated photo shoot.
"The room is an identical replica," said Graduate Hotels CEO Ben Weprin. "From the ceiling, to the brick wall, to the record player and records, the posters, the pennants -- every single piece in that room, we have it."
The Jordan Suite -- Room No. 23, of course -- isn't just an exhibit to look at. You can actually stay in the room, too.
But there will be lots more to see in the hotel -- including game-worn sneakers from 1983, a $5 check Jordan cashed after winning a game of pool, and last but not least, Jordan's actual student ID card.
"We thought it would be a fun way to pay homage to him," Weprin said of the Jordan Suite. "It is like going back in time, trying to get in the head of Michael Jordan. He was a normal kid -- even though he is an icon now."
