The man and the young boy, both had to be rescued.

CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two people had to be rescued from a pond in Cary.
It happened just after 12:30 p.m. on Caniff Lane near Green Level Road in west Cary.
Investigators say a 59-year-old man jumped into the pond after he saw a 10-year-old boy fall through the icy pond.
The man and the young boy, both had to be rescued.
They were taken to the hospital, but are expected to recover.
First responders are reminding parents and kids do not walk out on the ice.
Sunday's incident comes after an 11-year-old boy fell through the ice at Womble Park in Holly Springs yesterday.
Officials say the child was checked out and reunited with his parents.
