Northampton Co. Sheriff’s Office asking for help solving 2012 cold case

NORTHAMPTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- On June 24th, 2012 Northampton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car fire at a home off of Macon Price Road in Pleasant Hill.

When officers arrived they found 29-year-old Crystal Bell dead from gunshot wounds to the upper body.

During the investigation, no direct evidence has been developed to identify a suspect in the case.

Anyone with tips or information can submit information anonymously on Northampton County Crime Stoppers website or contact Detective W. Brown at Northampton Co. Sheriff’s Office.

There is a $5,000 governor’s reward for anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this homicide case of Crystal Bell.
