

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WTVD) -- State correctional officers and local law enforcement agencies say an inmate who escaped from Forsyth Correctional Center on Friday morning has been captured.
Officials said Raymond Warren, 35, escaped from the facility but was found and taken into custody just after 3 p.m.by Winston-Salem police officers and North Carolina Department of Adult Correction officers.
Warren was serving a five-year sentence for two counts of larceny and was scheduled for release in 2028.
Warren, who is from Davidson County, will be housed at Central Prison in Raleigh and will face charges for felony escape.

The NC Department of Adult Correction said it has launched an investigation into the incident.
