LAKE LURE, N.C. (WTVD) -- There is more progress being made in western North Carolina's recovery from Hurricane Helene.
The Town of Lake Lure announced it is starting to refill the lake.
The mayor said they hope the work is done by Memorial Day so it is ready for the holiday weekend and summer tourism.
