Woman killed in Harnett County stabbing; suspect charged with murder, deputies say

BROADWAY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A woman is dead and another is in custody after a stabbing in Harnett County on Saturday morning.

According to the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called just after 9 a.m. to a home on Dunrovin Lane in Broadway.

When they arrived, deputies found Victoria Young suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died.

Investigators have charged 47-year-old Lisa Acevedo with murder. She is being held at the Harnett County Detention Center without bond.

Authorities have not released additional details about what led up to the stabbing. The investigation remains ongoing.
