Historic bowling alley closes its doors in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A historic bowling alley which has been around since the 1960's closed its doors in Raleigh Saturday.

The Alley on Hillsborough Street are moving to downtown Durham.

The bowling alley still has its 24 original hardwood lanes and paper score card system.

Target has announced plans to move into the empty location. The store is projected to open in October 2017.
