Multi-vehicle crash closes Durham Freeway northbound

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Both lanes of northbound NC-147 near the new interchange were closed for about an hour on Monday following a multi-vehicle accident.

Police said the crash occurred before 12:30 p.m. near Glover Road.

Officials said northbound lanes between Briggs Avenue and Ellis Road exits impacted.

Authorities said one person was injured and is being treated; however, they have yet to comment on how the accident occurred.
