Uber driver charged with sexual assault

CHICAGO -- An Uber driver has been accused of sexually assaulting a female passenger.

Police say 35-year-old Alexander Marrero molested a 23-year-old woman as she sat unconscious in his backseat. Investigators say the woman had been out drinking with friends.

Marrero now faces one felony count of aggravated kidnapping and one felony count of criminal sexual assault.

Uber says Marrero has been permanently banned from the Uber app.
