CHAPEL HILL (WTVD) -- University of North Carolina's Marcus Paige is expected to play Tuesday against the University of Maryland in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

The senior guard has missed the Tar Heels' first six games this season due to a fracture in his right hand, an injury he suffered in practice on Nov. 3rd.

Paige's return is subject to him going through practice Monday without aggravating the injury.

Paige is a two-time captain of the Tar Heels; he averages 13.2 points and has 474 assists at Carolina.
