CHAPEL HILL (WTVD) -- A University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill research assistant professor is facing felony child sexual exploitation charges.

Kuo Hsiung Yang, 33, was arrested Thursday and charged with second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He is currently being held in the Orange County jail under a $500,000 bond.

Details surrounding the case have not been released. The FBI is also investigating.
