The director of Vance County's 911 service said Wednesday night there was a problem with calling 911 from a Sprint cell phone, but the issue has since been resolved.

The problems affected only Sprint customers in Vance and Franklin counties.

Callers could hear dispatchers, but dispatchers were unable to hear callers.
