General Hospital Spotlight: Braedyn Bruner on her Emma Scorpio-Drake character

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- In this edition of GH SPOTLIGHT, we chat with Braedyn Bruner, known to GH fans as Emma Scorpio-Drake.

Bruner moved to Los Angeles from the Dallas area in 2023 to fully dedicate herself to her acting career.

She recently celebrated her first year on the show on Nov 12.

Fans have welcomed her with open arms as she takes over the role that was long held by Brooklyn Rae Silzer.

Bruner had a connection to General Hospital long before she joined the soap. It turns out her parents were huge fans of the daytime drama during the 1980s and the 1990s, so they were "over the moon" when they learned she was auditioning for the show.

ABC11 photojournalist and GH insider Dearon Smith recently caught up with Braedyn to discuss what her first year has been like and what the future holds for her in Port Charles.
