MORRISVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- A longtime Harris Teeter in Morrisville is set to close its doors this spring.
The grocery chain confirmed it will shut down its location in the McCrimmon Corners shopping center on Davis Drive. The store's final day of operation will be on or before April 17.
Harris Teeter did not provide a specific reason for the closure. In a statement, the company said the decision followed "careful consideration and strategic market review."
The Morrisville store includes a pharmacy and an in-store Starbucks, both of which will close as part of the shutdown.
Harris Teeter has not announced whether employees will be transferred to nearby locations.
