Meet Chuck Norris: Dog busts himself out of kennel at Cumberland County shelter

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- Cumberland County Animal Services had quite the mess to clean up after one determined dog decided he'd had enough kennel life.

The shelter shared photos on Facebook showing the aftermath -- after a dog named "Chuck Norris" literally tore the door off his cage, hinges and all.

The shelter says Chuck Norris -- named after the late martial artist and actor -- managed the daring escape sometime overnight. But his taste of freedom didn't last long.

When shelter staff arrived at work, they quickly discovered the damage and busted his breakout plans.

Despite the chaos, Animal Services says Chuck Norris showed just how smart, bold, and confident he really is.
