RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Wake County's first women's only hospital welcomes its first patients on Monday.
The 61-bed hospital is part of an expansion at WakeMed North, in north Raleigh.
One major difference patients will notice is there's more of a hotel vibe.
There will be lots of light, in-room massages, manicures, pedicures, and dry-cleaning services.
WakeMed will also be using the "laborist model," which ensures a group of OB/GYNs are there at all times.
