Deputies: Car drags woman after domestic fight in Durham

The Durham County Sheriff's Office said a domestic incident led to a woman being dragged by a car Wednesday morning.

Her foot was run over as her boyfriend took off from the scene, deputies said.

The incident began at a convenience store on Club Boulevard, off I-85, when the two got into an argument.

Authorities said the man then drove off in the woman's car and that's when she was dragged.

The Highway Patrol chased the suspect, who eventually crashed the car on I-85 at Redwood Road.

He's now in custody facing charges.
