Raleigh police charge man with statutory rape of teen

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police arrested a man Sunday from Granville County on child sex charges.

21-year-old Yancarlos Aguilar-Orozco was charged with statutory rape, indecent liberties with a child, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The charges run from February 1 to May 14.

According to warrants, he is accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl. He is also accused of helping the victim run away from home on May 1 by picking her up at her residence.

Aguilar-Orozco is being held at the Wake County Detention Center.
