Zebulon man arrested on sex charges involving minor
LOUISBURG (WTVD) -- A Franklin County man was arrested Friday and charged with various sex offenses involving a minor.
Michael David Adams, 46, was charged with four counts of indecent liberties with a minor, four counts of statutory rape of a child less than 15 years of age and one count of sexual battery.
The incidents are alleged to have happened between December and April.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said Adams, of the 600 block of Carlyle Road in Zebulon, is being held at the Franklin County Detention Center under a $1.5 million secured bond for the eight felonies, and an additional $1,500 for the misdemeanor charge.
