A larger reward is being offered in a Durham assault case.

Self-Help of Durham has increased its reward contribution to $5,000 in addition to the existing CrimeStoppers reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.

On Nov. 24, a 54-year-old man was beaten and robbed in the Corcoran Street parking garage in downtown Durham.

The victim says four men aproached him as he was getting on the the elevator in the parking garage. The men punched him repeatedly on the head and face then took his wallet and two cell phones.
