Man arrested on multiple sex offense charges

FUQUAY-VARINA Alonzo Quentin Powell, 21, of Fuquay-Varina, was charged with sex offense in the first degree, rape in the first degree, indecent liberties with a child, and sex offense of a parental.

Powell is being held on one-million dollars bond. It is not know what relation he had to the victim.

Powell is expected to make his first court appearance on Monday.
