Officers say an unidentified man approached an apartment in the 1400 block of Tangora Lane and asked for someone. When he was told the person for whom he was looking was not there, the man fired a single shot that somehow struck three people.
All three victims were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment. Police said none have life threatening injuries.
The suspect drove off in a gray Pontiac Vibe. Police were still investigating the shooting Monday night.
