Knightdale police said 29-year-old Demetrius Raheim Crudup was headed east on the interstate near Knightdale Blvd just before 5 a.m. when it happened.

Crudup's 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee flipped several times and he was thrown from the vehicle. Emergency workers took the Raleigh resident to WakeMed where he was pronounced dead.
