Arrest made in Cary laundromat murder

Cary police have made an arrest after a man's body was found inside a laundromat in the 100 block of Reed Street on March 29.

Eriberto Bosques, 31, of Cary, was found dead inside Wash Tub Laundry, which is right off Maynard Road and Chatham Street.

Rumaldo Ramirez Velasquez, 40, of Cary was arrested in South Carolina Tuesday and charged with murder.

Authorities have also issued an arrest warrant for 23-year-old Ruben Gilberto Hernandez, of Cary. Hernandez is also charged with the murder of Bosques.

"We're very proud of our detectives and the members of the intergovernmental team who've worked tirelessly to help bring some level of closure to Mr. Bosques' family and friends," said Capt. Don Hamilton of the Town of Cary's Criminal Investigations Division. "Keep in mind that while an arrest has been made, this is still a very active investigation and it's not too late for anyone with information related to the incident to come forward."
