Flames engulf Wake County school bus in Cary

CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A fire engulfed a Wake County school bus along Highway 55 in Cary.

A viewer submitted video shows a Wake County school bus No. 1122 in flames.

Officials with Wake County Public Schools said no one was on board when the fire broke out.

The bus was transporting students from Highcroft Elementary School in Cary. The driver and students evacuated safely when the smoke emerged from the bus.
