BURLINGTON (WTVD) -- Investigators are looking into the death of a teen who died shortly after being pulled from the Haw River in Alamance County.
Crews were dispatched to the Haw River on Tuesday night after receiving reports of a drowning.
An Alamance County Sheriff's Office deputy who arrived on the scene said he heard a man shouting before finding 16-year-old Brandon Snavely unconscious near the river bank.
After crews performed CPR, Snavely was taken to Alamance Regional Medical Center, where he died Wednesday morning.
His death remains under investigation.
