Accident knocks out power to some in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A crash in the 2000 block of Camden Avenue in Durham caused some area residents to lose power.

The accident involving a pick-up truck happened around 2 p.m. at the intersection with Midland Terrace and Mist Lake Drive. It caused some damage to power lines and at least one pole.

The crash meant people living along Camden Avenue, Old Oxford Highway, Avondale Drive, Club Boulevard, Roxboro Street, and Alston Avenue were without electricity.

There's no word on injuries from the crash.
