Investigators say the crime took place in a bathroom at 71st High School.
A teacher found 17-year-old Xaveair Antonio Hammonds in the bathroom and reported the incident to authorities.
Detectives say the incident occurred on November 8, 2007.
Hammonds remains in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $3,000. He is expected to make his first court appearance today.
