Body of woman identified

ROCKY MOUNT The skeletal remains of Jarniece Latonya Hargrove, 31, were discovered in a wooded area off Seven Bridgers Road.

She had been missing since May 3.

A task force is looking into the killings of five women whose bodies were found in the county in the past four years.

The first body was found in 2005 and all of the cases remain unsolved. The sheriff has not said the cases are related.
