When they arrived, they found 18-year-old Lashaun Lamont Hunt lying outside the store. He had been fatally shot several times. Hunt was not an employee at the store, according to police.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Investigators are trying to locate two vehicles seen in the area at the time of the shooting. One was described as a white or light-colored SUV and the other was a Nissan Altima.

This is the year's second homicide investigation. In the early morning hours of Jan. 1, 33-year-old Kinta Lamont Newman was shot in the 200 block of Cecil Street near Chautauqua Avenue. He later died at a local hospital.

Anyone with information in either incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at (919) 683-1200.
