Investigation underway in Goldsboro after person found dead inside car

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- A death investigation is underway in Goldsboro after a person was found dead inside a car.

Police officers made the discovery just before 5:30 a.m. Tuesday when they responded to a car crash in the 600 block of W. Holly Street.

Police have not said how the person died. Their identity has not been released.

The incident remains under investigation.
