"I submitted my application, I sent my $225 application fee, and I waited to hear from them," Vericka said.
She said she was told if she didn't qualify for the loan, she would get a good chunk of her application fee back.
It took some time before hearing anything, but she was eventually told she didn't qualify.
"Once you don't qualify, you're supposed to get a $195 refund," Vericka said.
She waited, but that didn't happen.
"I kept calling them in reference to my refund, no response, no response," she said.
She also emailed her rep at Commercial Wide Funding Group about her money and he replied twice saying she would be receiving a check soon.
But a month later, Vericka still hadn't gotten her money. She reached out to me, and I got in touch with Commercial Wide Funding Group.
"He started calling me on the phone and was like 'Oh, Ms. Smith I'm so sorry. I thought this was all taken care of. We're going to get it in the mail,'" Vericka said she was told.
It still took some time, but Vericka finally got her $195.
The rep with Commercial Wide Funding Group told me he thought the refund was taken care of already and was sorry for the mix-up.
