RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Verdict watch will continue Monday morning in the capital murder trial of Armond Devega.

He's facing a possible death sentence if convicted of a violent crime spree, and the murder of a convenience store clerk.

The jury headed home for the weekend without a verdict.

Devega is charged with pulling off eight armed robberies, two murders, and an attempted murder all in Raleigh in 2008.

The murder of a young mother, Stephanie Anderson, was captured by a surveillance camera in the convenience store where she was a clerk.

Anderson can be heard begging for her life when the gunman shoots her because she didn't know how to open the safe.

Prosecutors claim the man in the video is Devega.

Jurors will resume deliberations at 9:30 a.m. Monday.
