Major business fire in Raleigh closes Atlantic Avenue

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A major business fire closed a portion of Atlantic Avenue in Raleigh on Friday afternoon.

The road was closed between Millbrook Road and Forest Oaks Drive for several hours while crews fought the second alarm fire at Brothers Cleaners.

Chopper 11 HD was over the scene as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze.

Smoke could be seen billowing from the back of the building. Our crew on the scene said two nearby businesses were evacuated due to the smoke in the air.

The fire was ruled as accidental. There were no injuries.
