Sights and sounds from the Final Four: Thursday's Media Round-up
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WTVD) -- Thursday's Final Four press conferences provided a few light moments outside of preparation for this weekend's big games. Here's a few of the best media moments from the day:
1. Video Game Fever
Wisconsin senior Frank Kaminsky and Kentucky junior Willie Cauley-Stein will face-off against each other on Saturday but realized that they share one very important trait when it comes to battling "off the court."
2. Wooden Watch
Three of the four head coaches at this year's Final Four are part of college basketball's elite club as National champions. Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo recalls how he felt when he joined the club and met the ultimate NCAA title holder, John Wooden.
3. Storming The Court
Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski's 12 Final Four appearances ties former UCLA great John Wooden, and with this success, the Blue Devils face a target on their backs with every game they play. Coach K shared his thoughts on what it's like to a have a "bullseye" on his back.
4. Why Can't We Be Friends?
Even though they square off against each other in the Final Four, Duke's Mike Krzyzewski and Michigan State's Tom Izzo share a close relationship off the court. Both coaches share the funny moment when they first met.
