Officials investigating deaths of 3 children at Camp Lejeune

CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (WTVD) -- Camp Lejeune is looking into how three children died in two separate incidents on Wednesday.

Base officials won't say how the children died but told ABC affiliate WCTI that the children were not shot.

Officials said these are isolated incidents and the public is not in danger.

The Naval Criminal Investigative Service is in charge of the investigation.
