Woman rescued in Cary

CARY, NC (WTVD) -- Emergency workers were able to find an elderly woman who wandered into a swampy area and got lost Monday afternoon.

It happened in the 71-hundred block of Turner Creek Road. The area is between NC Hwy 55 and the Triangle Expressway.

Rescuers said the woman is okay.
