Driver crashes van into car, leaves scene in Clayton: Highway Patrol

CLAYTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- Authorities are looking for the driver they say crashed a van into a car overnight in Johnston County.

The crash happened on Covered Bridge Road in Clayton. Footage from the scene showed a van had driven off the road and another car was badly damaged.

North Carolina State Highway Patrol troopers are searching for the driver.
