Vehicle hits utility pole, overturns in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- An accident blocked part of Cliffdale Road in Fayetteville Friday morning after a vehicle struck a utility pole and overturned.

It happened just before 10 a.m. at Pritchett Road. It is unclear what caused the driver to crash into the pole, and if there were any injuries.

Officials said the accident knocked down power lines, making the road impassable.

Cliffdale Road between Bunce Road and Waters Edge Drive was blocked off until the early afternoon.
