Truck crash takes out power to more than a thousand in Raleigh and Durham County

The crash shut down Leesville Rd.

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A crash involving a semi-truck on Leesville Road at Doc Nichols Road knocked out power to nearly two thousand homes - including much of the Harrington Grove subdivision in Raleigh - Wednesday.



Duke Energy's website said power was restored by 9 a.m.



The cause of the crash is under investigation.
