Driver killed in Cumberland County crash

CUMBERLAND COUNTY (WTVD) -- One person died overnight after getting pinned underneath a vehicle.

It happened on Highway 210 in the Beaver Dam area, just southeast of Fayetteville.

Authorities told ABC11 crews at the scene that the driver went off the road to the right, over corrected and crossed the center line. The driver then hit a tree after over correcting again.

The driver was then ejected, and the vehicle ended up landing on top of the victim.

The name of the driver has not been released at this time.
