Woman refuses $975 million settlement check from oil tycoon ex-husband

One woman is saying that almost $1 billion isn't enough for a divorce settlement.

Oklahoma native Sue Ann Arnall is demanding more money than the $974 million check she received from her ex-husband Harold Hamm, a billionaire oil tycoon, according to ABC News. Arnall is appealing the decision, saying that had she accepted the check it would hurt her chances in court.

Hamm, CEO of Continental Resources based in Oklahoma City, who is worth more than $8 billion also appealed the $1 billion check, saying he had already paid his wife $20 million throughout their divorce proceedings, according to ABC News.
