Rescuers pull distressed dog from abandoned cesspool

An amazing rescue was caught on camera when a dog was pulled from an abandoned cesspool in New York.

Poofa, a 6-year-old Golden-Doodle was out for a walk when he pulled away from his owner and fell 16-feet down the hole.

His owner had to call in backup, and it took six police officers about three hours to rescue the dog.

When Poofa emerged, he had plenty of kisses for his new best friends.
