DURHAM, North Carolina (WTVD) -- A chain-reaction crash tied up traffic on the Durham Freeway (N.C. 147) during the Friday evening commute.
It happened in the northbound lanes near the Briggs Avenue exit in the construction zone.
At least six cars were involved. Motorists were forced to avoid the scene using only one lane; all lanes reopened around 6:30 p.m.
Authorities have not said if anyone was injured in the collision.
