DURHAM (WTVD) -- The Durham Police Department says uniforms were recently stolen from an officer's home.
The theft was discovered during a break-in call. It said no department-issued badges or identification were stolen.
Officers carry department identification and are equipped with badges. Residents should request identification if there is a question about the legitimacy of an officer.
