One shot at Durham Red Roof Inn

DURHAM (WTVD) -- One person was shot at the Red Roof Inn on Highway 55 in Durham on Saturday afternoon.

It happened around 3:40 p.m. Authorities said the victim was shot after walking out of one of the motel's rooms.

According to authorities, the suspect is on the run.

The victim's identity has not been released, and there was no word on the victim's condition.
