NC State officer charged with DWI

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A North Carolina State University public safety officer is charged with DWI.

Andrew Barnhardt Womble, 23, of Fuquay-Varina, was stopped early Sunday morning near Varsity Drive and Western Boulevard.

NC State confirmed Monday that Womble works for the campus police department.
