Elton John coming to Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Music legend Elton John is scheduled to play in the Sandhills this spring.

The Crown Complex in Fayetteville announced the March 11 show via their Twitter account early Thursday morning. Information on his 2015 Tour website shows John playing 44 cities this year, wrapping on November 21 in Wellington, New Zealand.

Tickets for the Fayetteville show go on sale January 23.
