The victim said she was walking along Person Street near Eastern Blvd when she was approached by the man offering a ride. The victim refused the offer and the suspect forced her into his car. He then drove her to the area of E. Russell Street and Broad Street where he sexually assaulted her.

The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 25 to 30 years of age, 5'10-6'00, 180-210 lbs., muscular build, with long, thick dreads that go midway down his back, and a receding hairline. The suspect was also described as having a scar on his stomach and a "pink" patch of skin in his groin area. The suspect was said to be driving a silver passenger car with black leather bucket seats.
